Air Force Gyan Jyoti School Palam was one of the Air Force School established in 1969, to cater to the educational needs of children of service personnel of 3 Wing AF, its lodger units and other AF units in and around Palam. The School is unaided. It is recognised by Govt of NCT Delhi. The school is affiliated to CBSE and upgraded upto Secondary Level in 2003-2004. The school has been registered with “IAF Educational & Cultural Society”. Vide registration number is SS/3W/WAC/18/04. Total Area of School : 79,400 Sq. ft. Building Area (Covered) : 9,600 Sq. ft. Open Area : 69,800 Sq. ft. The School consists of : – (i) Primary Section for students from I to class V (ii) Senior Section from class VI to X The school functions under the Principal as the Academic & Administrative Head and is assisted by the Vice Principal and other staff.
